On June 4, 2024, the spokesman for the City of Millersville, Tennessee police department’s “Operation Clean Sweep” which involves a Web-based child sex predator online sting operated out a shed somewhere, appeared on the Hagmann Report with Doug Hagmann where he called for a criminal investigation of Phil Williams, News 5, Nashville.
The Millersville spokesman said Phil Williams, News 5, Nashville is committing a crime through the act of reporting on the activities of Millersville Assistant Police Chief Shawn Taylor. The Millersville spokesman did not provide any specific detail or fact that would appear to constitute any kind of criminal offense by Williams. Williams is a TV News reporter who attends public meetings, conducts in-person interviews on hot-button issues, and airs investigative news on Channel 5 in Nashville.
The Millersville spokesman said Homeland Security Investigations, Federal Bureau of Investigations, and/or U.S. Marshals should investigate Williams and New 5. The spokesman said Williams and News 5 is, “…attacking law enforcement who is enforcing the law“.
During the Hagman Report, the City of Millersville Police spokesman solicited donations via their spokesman and provided viewers a link and form to transfer money to an Arizona group that is NOT law enforcement.
The Millersville Police Department spokesman also asked the public to send tips and information about crime in the Nashville area to the Arizona group where “investigators” will investigate.
Evidence shows the Arizona group is a fraud that causes unsuspecting people to donate money to the Arizona group because they believe the group is ‘law enforcement’ and is going to “rescue” children with the money. However, the fact is the Arizona group has NEVER recued one single child. The City of Millersville is involved as a corporate sponsor for the scheme.
Ironically – while the Arizona-based group that is doing press releases on behalf of Millersville, Tennessee’s police, while requesting law enforcement initiate a criminal investigation into Williams and News 5, the true facts and evidence show it that may in fact be the Arizona group that is actual entity committing a crime – because the activities appear to be interstate wire fraud.
