On February 13, 2024, Joe Luis, Host, Crime Knight, delivered a presentation of evidence regarding the murders of Abigail Williams and Liberty German who were murdered 7 years earlier to the date in Delphi, Indiana.
TIMOTHY CHARLES HOLMSETH REPORTS is using Luis’ investigative work-product, in part, to provide an update to a report we filed on June 26, 2021, entitled “DEVELOPMENT: Delphi Police Chief receives telephone call from man with voice that sounds like suspect” and a subsequent report on November 9, 2022, entitled “MASS RITUAL MURDER IN INDIANA (THE MYSTERIOUS FIREMAN OF CARROLL COUNTY)”.
The Police Chief referenced in the June 26, 2021 story is Brook L. McCain who reportedly received a call about the Delphi Murder investigation from a retired FIREMAN from Duffield, Virginia named John Taylor.
“John Taylor, Virginia, announced today on a You Tube program called ‘From The Desk of Murtwitnessonelive’ that he telephoned the Chief of Police in Delphi, Indiana – he did not provide the date of the call,” the story said.
“Taylor said he talked to the Police Chief about investigative journalist Timothy Charles Holmseth,” the story said.
“I spoke to the Delphi police chief for an hour. This guy was so pissed off. And they don’t even handle that murder case. But that’s their town. And to have this asshole (Timothy Holmseth) muddying up, ya know, accusing Murt (William K. Murtaugh, Apopka, Florida) of being involved in the murder,” Taylor said.
U.S. Court records, FBI records, and troves of videos show William Kevin Murtaugh cynically brags that he is in fact the infamous Boston mobster and FBI informant James ‘Whitey’ Bulger now living under the protection of the FBI’s Witness Protection Program.
The story regarding FIREMAN John Taylor and Delphi Police Chief McCain contained a video that shows William Murtaugh appears to be the ‘Walking Man” from the video captured on the Monon High Bridge, while Murtaugh’s professional colleague and You Tube channel moderator, John Taylor’s voice, sounds like the “Talking Man” on the recording of the murderer released by law enforcement.
Yesterday’s report by Luis on Crime Knight flows almost seamlessly into the fact pattern set forth on TIMOTHY CHARLES HOLMSETH REPORTS – particularly the suspicious fires that are plaguing that area in Indiana.
On January 7, 2020, the Delphi Police Department (DPD) in Delphi, Indiana issued a press release on Facebook to announce Delphi Chief of Police Steve Mullin would be stepping down from his position. DPD announced Mullin “accepted a position with the Carrol County Prosecutor’s Office as their Criminal Investigator”.
On January 8, 2020, the Carroll County Comet reported, “Delphi’s Police Chief, Steve Mullin, resigned from the city position effective Jan. 7. He will be employed by Carroll County in the Prosecutor’s Office as a criminal investigator. Delphi Mayor Shane Evans promoted Sgt. Brook McCain to be the next police chief”.
As set forth in Luis’ report yesterday, this is where the Delphi Murders become intertwined with a fire in Carroll County, Indiana, and the murder of a man named John D. MaCurdy – who reportedly possessed CRIME SCENE PHOTOGRAPHS of the Delphi Murder scene and planned to go to the police with his evidence and information.
On September 25, 2020, WTHR reported, “Carroll County sheriff believes two people found dead in house fire were murdered; suspect committed suicide“. “CARROLL COUNTY, Ind. — Two people found dead in a house fire Monday morning in Carroll County had been murdered according to the coroner. John D. MaCurdy, 73, and Anna Downham both died from a gunshot according to the coroner,” WTHR said.
“Investigators developed a vehicle description for the suspect and found out Miami County deputies had found a car matching that description in a remote area. The Miami County deputies had been investigating a suicide tied to the car that happened on the same day as the fire in Carroll County. Police said 58-year-old Daniel H. Doe of Rice Lake, Wisconsin died from a self-inflicted gunshot. Police were able to link Doe with being at the MaCurdy home early Monday morning and believe Doe killed MaCurdy and Downham,” KTHR reported.
Yesterday, Luis said the following on his report.
“John MaCurdy, before he was killed, John MaCurdy was in possession of crime scene photographs,” Luis said.
Luis said the “photography” was “pertaining to the homicide of Liberty German and Abigail Williams”.
John MaCurdy is related to Beverly Mullin who is the sister of the then Delphi Police Chief (Steve Mullin) who is now in the Prosecutor’s office working under Nicholas McLeland. John MaCurdy had told someone that he was going to go to the cops and tell them about this photography that he had from the crime scene. And the person that John MaCurdy spoke to warned him said ‘don’t approach Carroll County police because those sons-of-bitchs are corrupt as corrupt can be,” Luis said.
Luis said MaCurdy decided to go to the police with the crime scene photography that he had.
Luis emphasizes the significance that MaCurdy already had the crime scene photography “way back in 2020”.
Luis said he learned that “unbeknownst to anybody” – “Mr. MaCurdy was in fact tracking his ex-wife Beverly Mullin – the sister of (Former Police Chief) Steve Mullin – he was tracking her because he believed she was being unfaithful. And on the day of February 13, 2017, that Libby and Abby went missing, MaCurdy was able to track Beverly Mullin to the Monon High Bridge area. So what was she doing there? It’s the sister of the then Delphi Police Chief who is now working for the Prosecutor’s office”.
“He (MaCurdy) was using something called Sprint Family Locator – John MaCurdy – and he was able to track his wife that day – she was at the Monon High Bridge area,” Luis said.
It is not known if Beverly Mullin was interviewed regarding her alleged presence at the Monon High Bridge on the day in question.
